The University of Glasgow has opened a call for its International Partnership Development Fund (IPDF) - Research Seed Funding. This initiative aims to strengthen relationships with existing international partners, including the University of Zurich, by fostering joint research activities. The funding supports collaborations with the potential to secure external grants and/or produce joint research publications.

- Application for: University of Glasgow staff members, meaning UZH staff members must find a counterpart at the University of Glasgow to collaborate with and who submits the application (find an expert at University of Glasgowhere).
- Fields: all disciplines at the University of Glasgow with priority given to applications that align with the International Strategy: Global Glasgow 2025
- Funding: up to a maximum of £5000 plus 50% match funding support from your school or college
- Application deadline: 18.03.2025 (note: provide your college contacts with a notice of intention by mid-February)
