U21 has opened its call for the Programme for Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs) in partnership with Common Purpose. This program is designed to bring together MCRs from across U21’s global network, providing a unique platform to share knowledge, perspectives, and ideas. In response to the challenges of recent years, the U21 MCR programme offers participants a valuable opportunity to refocus, reset, and equip themselves with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in a collaborative and creative research environment.
- Application for: Mid-career researchers at the level of Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor (or equivalent) from any discipline
- Duration: 23 October – 20 November 2024 (with 1 hour asynchronous and 1 hour synchronous sessions per week for 4 weeks)
- Themes: Mindset for Success; Courage to Fail; Trusting Yourself; Collaboration; Partnership Building
- Benefits: Gain insights and skills for success in a creative, collaborative research environment, develop multi-disciplinary relationships within a global network for peer support and international collaboration, and discover new ideas and approaches to foster personal growth and address research challenges.
