In 2023 the Europa Institut at the University of Zurich offers, with support by the Swiss Government (SBFI), and in cooperation with the BMW Center for German and European Studies (CGES) at Georgetown University, two research grants.
For four months, two Swiss Fellows will get the chance to frame their research at the CGES in Washington D.C. and profit from the facilities, the connections, and the extensive network of one of the leading universities in the world.
Fellows receive a 5,200 USD per month grant to finance their stay. The CGES offers a working space, access to its book and journal collections, and to other research facilities.
The application is open to scholars, practitioners, journalists and public intellectuals who want to push forward their new and evolving perspectives on historical and current events.
Application deadline is 30. November 2022.
