13.03.2023Leuven Institute of Advanced Study (LIAS) Junior Fellowship

The Leuven Institute for Advanced Studies (LIAS) is now launching a new call for its junior fellows programme specifically for advanced Ph.D. students, postdocs or junior faculty members (tenure track) for Una Europa Universities, which includes the University of Zurich. Applicants will be able to participate with senior fellows in expert workshops, discussions and lectures as well as actively engage with the LIAS community.
 

About LIAS:

LIAS gathers scientific insights on major societal challenges, based on international and interdisciplinary discussion between leading researchers. This interaction sets out to overcome and transcend traditional disciplinary thinking.

About the call:

This year’s focus is on “New Living arrangements for the boomer generation”, including following tracks:

• Ageing in place versus moving in time
• Conflicts of governance in elderly care
• Freedom of choice in housing versus obligation
• The contribution of technical aids
• The transition to residential care centers
• Social inequality in ageing

LIAS will cover all travel and hotel costs for junior fellows for a stay during the month of May, up to 14 days in Leuven with a maximum of € 1,000 for the total stay.
