Research Partnership Grants (RPGs) - Switzerland & MENA
The Swiss Leading House MENA is pleased to announce its 2025 call for Research Partnership Grants (RPGs), aimed at strengthening collaboration between researchers in Switzerland and partner countries in the MENA region.
Each grant provides up to CHF 25,000 to support either the launch of new joint projects or the consolidation of existing initiatives into long-term partnerships.
Open to all scientific disciplines, the call welcomes a wide range of methods and approaches: field research, feasibility studies, qualitative interviews, artistic or design-based research, workshops, etc.
The objective is to foster sustainable collaborations that may lead to future applications to national or international funding agencies, or to strengthen long-term partnerships between institutions or research groups. The mutual commitment of both partners, including co-funding or in-kind contributions, is a key selection criterion.
Applicants must hold a position (permanent or lasting until project end) and demonstrate substantial research or practical experience.

Project latest start date: January 2026
Duration: Up to 12 months
