UnaBo Call for Proposals – Partner Projects within the Una Europa Alliance

The University of Bologna has launched the UnaBo Call for Proposals, inviting UniBo lecturers and researchers to develop collaborative “seed projects” together with partner universities of the Una Europa Alliance which includes the University of Zurich (UZH). This internal initiative aims to stimulate small-scale activities in teaching, research, and third mission engagement, ultimately strengthening transnational cooperation and laying the groundwork for larger European or international projects.

  • Type: Internal funding scheme for collaborative academic “seed projects”
  • Goal: Strengthening transnational cooperation within the Una Europa Alliance and supporting the development of innovative, interdisciplinary pilot initiatives
  • Application for: UniBo academics (permanent or fixed-term) as project coordinators; projects must involve collaboration with at least two Una Europa partner universities
  • Fields / Activities: Joint teaching or blended learning initiatives, pilot research projects or mapping studies, international or interdisciplinary academic events, or community engagement projects
  • Funding: Up to €12,000 per project (lump sum; total of 7 funded projects)
  • Duration: Projects may begin in early 2026 and run for up to 18 months
  • Deadline: 9 January 2026
